If “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”, how did this show get loose? NO, I haven’t seen it - especially since for the same price I can walk a block and see Hairspray. Twice. But luckily, Steve Winn did the dirty work for us.

Among his many astute observations is that calling the show Da Vinci is like calling a show about Joan of Arc - Of Arc. Contrast this with the show Tom Marioni (who’s farther funded the Leonardo Da Vinci Society) curated - an 1987 exhibit at the Walter McBean Gallery featuring Leo-inspired works by Tony Labat, Clayton Bailey, William T. Wiley, David Ireland, and Chris Burdon. Those were the days…
